Program Description

The mission of 十大正规网赌软件 Nursing Program is to promote success through learning by facilitating the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes required by entry-level nurses to provide safe, patient-centered, high quality, nursing care across the lifespan that is evidence-based for diverse individuals, families, and communities.
The 十大正规网赌软件 Nursing Program offers a comprehensive curriculum that is taught in a state of the art facility. The two-year registered nursing education program - Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) includes classroom, laboratory, and supervised clinical instruction in real and simulated environments. Up to 50 students are accepted into the program each August. Applications are accepted in the nuring program until May 20th each year for admission into the fall semester. Information regarding the application process, admission requirements, and application packets are found in the Nursing Menu to the left.

Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the national exam (NCLEX-RN) for RN licensure.

Registered Nurse Career Opportunities
Students who successfully complete the nursing program plan of study receive an Associate
of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Nursing and are eligible to write the National
Council Licensing Examination-Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) for licensure as a registered
nurse (RN).
Registered nurses provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public
about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients
and their family members.
Registered nurses work in hospitals, physicians' offices, home healthcare services,
and nursing care facilities, correctional facilities, schools, and the military.
Career Advancement Opportunities
Nursing program graduates may continue their education by pursuing higher degrees
in nursing such as a Bachelor (BSN), Master (MSN), or Doctorate (PhD) degree as well
as Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Doctorate degree in
Nursing Practice (DNP).
